Hey Divas looking to live debt free!   In America, we are taught to spend now and pay later. My husband and I had enough debt at the ages of 22 and 23 to realize that it was hurting our ability to get somewhere in this new life we made together. The only way to break free is to do something different. We were determined to “Change Our Family Tree”. At the time, that meant to handle our finances differently than others so that we could get a different result. Since then we realize that it has meant much more.

We patterned it in our minds that nothing was going to cause this boat called marriage to sink. We developed a budgeting plan and learned how to keep each other accountable. As a result, we are now DEBT-FREE!!! In total, the first seven years of our marriage amounted to paying off over $100,000 in debt and vowing to never return to that place again.
