(it’s NOT) About Me

***If you happen to find this blog, I know longer reside here.  Please, visit me at my new home on the web:   The SAVVY Work at Home Mom***

What is a Good Life Diva?
A Good Life Diva is a woman who is determined to live her life with passion and purpose – a woman who is not content with mediocrity or excuses.   She knows everything started in God and finds it purpose in Him (Col 1:16b).  She seeks to use her knowledge of her purpose in worship to God and in service to the world.

GoodLifeDiva.com is based on Ephesians 2:10  (the amplified bible version): For we are God’s [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].

Why Blogging?
I have been married for over a decade to my best friend and hero.  I spent the first few years of my marriage really trying to figure out where I fit in the “big picture.”  When I became a mom that need to know my purpose intensified. I began a journey to really discover why and how God created me. What made me unique? How was I to use this uniqueness to serve my family, my community – the world? Well, I feel that I know part of that answer. Blogging is apart of that answer and it has given me an outlet to express myself creatively.

This blog is really about the lessons that I’m learning. This is a personal (life) development blog. We will discuss relationships, identity, our talents, our potential, leadership, accountability, anything else related to personal development. Therefore, the posts will be about anything that helps us live the Good Life that God prearranged for us.

My Crew
For the quality of life that I desire we’ve determined the best fit for our family is having the flexibility to be available when my kids need me and to be able to earn an income doing what I love. My daughter is 8 and has entered the tween years.  She is a sensitive artist who makes me LOL on a daily basis. You will usually find her drawing on every piece of paper in the house or practicing her gymnastic’s hand stands.  My sons are 6 1/2 and 7 months old.   Our 6 year old is a piano-playing-skateboard-riding-break-dancing-never-know-what-he’s-going-to-say-soon-to-be-1st-grader.  Our 7 month old has to be the most easy going, lovable, handsome baby on the planet.   He has completed our family and as far as I’m concerned we’re done.  No more pushing out 8 lb babies for me!

Why GoodLifeDiva.com?
I launched my own internet based company, GoodLifeDiva.com, in Oct 2008 after being laid off w/o warning from a mortgage company here in Phoenix, AZ while  I was 7 months pregnant.   I knew at that moment that I was starting my own business and I wasn’t looking back.  I am determined that I don’t want a company to have that much power over my working life.  As the Chief Diva of GoodLifeDiva.com,  I coach women who desire to launch their own internet businesses and are overwhelmed or unequipped to handle all that needs to be done to get the business online. As a result I am empowering mothers to live their dream of making money from home in careers or businesses consistent with their life’s calling.

My goal for this site is to build a community of women who reach their fullest potential in God. Please, visit often, bring your girlfriends by and leave a comment and let me know what’s important to you.

I’m available by email at chiefdiva {at} goodlifediva {dot} com.

Our journey begins NOW.  Together.  Welcome to the Good Life!
